See around, not just through.
The 3D subset keeps the source positions of 44 separate structures. Rotate the model, hide a layer, or isolate a structure to inspect its shape.

Inspect the transverse head of the right adductor pollicis as a separate 3D source mesh. Compare it with the other head and nearby hand bones using the existing selection and layer controls.

27 principal hand bones, three thenar parts, three hypothenar muscles, two interosseous group meshes, one lumbrical group mesh, two adductor pollicis heads and six selected forearm muscle–tendon models. The camera centers on the hand; full muscle meshes extend toward the forearm. Other intrinsic hand muscles, other tendons, forearm bones, cartilage, ligaments, nerves and vessels are not loaded. This is a reduced-resolution model, not a complete dissection. Skin, vessels, nerves and most neighboring muscles are omitted. Colors and shading are illustrative; there are no realistic muscle-fiber textures. Anatomical review is still required.
Adductor pollicis lies in the deep adductor-interosseous compartment. Its oblique and transverse heads are parts of one muscle, not two independent muscles.
The source index identifies this object as the transverse head on the right. Both heads are separately selectable in this study, unlike the grouped interosseous and lumbrical source sets.

The transverse head arises from the third metacarpal shaft rather than the carpal region. It reaches the base of the thumb proximal phalanx, alongside the other head.
The loaded bones provide orientation, but their attachment areas are not annotated. Tendon boundaries and fibers cannot be selected independently.

Adductor pollicis brings the thumb toward the hand. This action differs from opposition.
Rotation in this viewer moves the camera, not a joint. The two meshes remain in their original pose; the model does not demonstrate contraction or measure movement.

The deep branch of the ulnar nerve supplies adductor pollicis.
Nerves and vessels are not displayed. Selecting one head does not reveal a separate nerve branch, and the visual mesh is not a clinical nerve map.

Read the model
BodyParts3D provides this right-sided surface model, not every anatomical variant. Colors distinguish structures; they are not tissue textures.
The right hand contains 27 bones and 17 selected muscle meshes, including both adductor pollicis heads. Palmaris brevis, the deep flexor pollicis brevis head, nerves, vessels, cartilage and separate ligaments are not loaded.
Both sides use original side-identified BodyParts3D geometry. Attachment footprints, internal fibers and contraction are not reconstructed. Illustrative colors are not tissue textures. Specialist anatomical review is pending.
A section tool is not available for this structure. The surface model does not reveal internal tissue architecture or represent a medical scan.
This guide uses independently written explanations with links to the evidence behind them. Source checking and specialist anatomical review are separate steps; the latter is still pending.

Source identification
BodyParts3D identifies this right-sided mesh as adductor pollicis · transverse head. Its source identifiers are FMA46123 and FJ1515. Colors and lighting are illustrative, not tissue textures.

The hand close-up includes three thenar parts, three hypothenar muscles, two interosseous group meshes, one lumbrical group mesh, two adductor pollicis heads and six forearm muscle–tendon models, but not the other intrinsic hand muscles or complete soft tissues, accessory bones or a joint-motion simulation.
